‘Dakotans for Honesty in Politics’ support legislation requiring protection of Social Security funds as a trust, using them only to fulfill obligations to contributors. We oppose any further use of FICA revenues for discretionary spending.

The old social security system needs to be phased out, and a new system created.

‘Dakotans for Honesty in Politics’ supports the ability of a contributor to withdraw his or her personal Social Security contributions and transfer them to a private investment. No working citizen should be required to participate in Social Security system. There should be no earning limitations placed on those who remain within the system.
