Family Dynamics Study

To better understand current family worldviews and dynamics

• Are you 18 years of age or older?
• Are you a resident of the United States?

Our nation is undergoing many changes in family structure and dynamics.  The question many of us are asking is: How have these changes affected children?

The purpose of this study is to better understand current family worldviews and dynamics as well as the experience of children who have encountered home life outside the traditional model. This is a non-judgmental, comparative study and needs the input of diverse adults, some of whom have experienced single parent homes, step-family homes, foster care or adoptive homes and some who have not.

We welcome your personal experience.  Your assistance and participation are extremely valuable.

In the primary phase of the study, you will be asked to fill out an anonymous online questionnaire. It should take approximately 20 minutes for you to complete the form.

In the optional second phase of this research, volunteers can choose to participate in a confidential, qualitative telephone interview.

To participate in the first phase, which is the online questionnaire, click on the SurveyMonkey link provided below and complete the survey:

Benefits to society include a better understanding of current family worldviews, dynamics and potential change to public policy.  This study could potentially affect Federal and State legislation and assist in the physical and emotional protection of children.
